To subscribe, just dial *777# and follow the prompt. The plans work on iOS, Android, Blackberry, PC and every other platformIf you look at it carefully, you'll see that they have increased the 1k and 2k plans by 1.2GB and 1.5GB respectively. They have also added a new plan which gives you 2GB + 2.5Gb (On campus)+ N2,000 airtime + 500MB Gift data for just N2,000. This is good news for subscribers of GLO data. The only problem is GLO is very slow in some parts of the country. I have contacted the customer care several times but they just keep saying it'll be fixed soon.
I think maybe they are trying to bribe us by increasing the data cap while they slowly fix their network troubles. I hope it gets fixed ASAP!
In summary, these new GLO Data plan is a welcome development and I hope other telcos will join the bandwagon and start to give more reasonable plans, especially Etisalat. Spread the word, share this post with your friends and let them hear the good news.
