The greatest thing about Jumia local is that merchants will be able to sell their products at 0% commission while still getting equal promotion on Jumia's social media platforms and other marketing channels This is an awesome initiative, and I believe every local manufacturer should take advantage of this.

Owned by Olajuwon Isola-Osobu, the brand's Made in Nigeria wears sold more than 5,000 pieces of fashion items in their first 6 months on Jumia. He is famous for the "Ello bae" tees in partnership with Falz d Bahd Guy and the VJ Adams Denim Brand of shirts. You can hear his full story in the video below. Check out Jay Osbie collections here.
Other Made in Nigeria brands featured on Jumia Local include Jay Osbie, Virtue Clothiers, Mr. Ekpa and Sky Run. Feel free to check them out and support the movement. Some of the categories of items include mobile phones and Accessories, Electronics, Fashion and lots more. Jumia Local is proudly supported by AFDEC and Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2016. To use Jumia Local, just click here.
Jumia Local is a wonderful initiative and I expect all Nigerian entrepreneurs to take full advantage. It is an awesome opportunity to put your brand shoulder to shoulder with other recognised names and who knows? you may become even bigger than Jay Osbie. Always buy Made In Nigeria to grow the Naira.
