GOOGLE PLAY: Top games, apps etc. of 2014

The year 2014 is almost over. A lot of downloads were made on Android's no. 1 store - Google Play. Google released an interesting infographic showcasing the top most downloaded in every category in the store. Candy crush saga was the most downloaded game of 2014. Find out more below.

In summary, 2014 was a year for Fitness apps. The fit fam struggle was real this year. Facebook is still the most downloaded social media app while subway surfer was the 4th most downloaded game.

Movie of the year was "Frozen", 'The walking dead' was TV show of the year while "Toy story" was the comeback movie of the year. Robin Williams was the most searched actor probably due to his tragic end to life.

In the books category, "The fault in our stars" was the most downloaded book followed by Fifty Shades of Grey, Divergent, Twelve Years a Slave and Insurgent respectively.

2014 was another successful year for Android with the introduction of android wear. 2015 promises to be bigger. What the future holds? Lets keep our fingers crossed!
